Court case Against Former MP, JB Danquah Adu '' Killers " dropped

An Accra High Court on Tuesday discharged the two main suspects at the
centre of the gruesome murder of NPP's former MP for the Abuakwa North
constituency, JB Danquah Adu. YEN reporter who was in court said the
state attorney, Sefakor Batcha told the court it is discontinuing the
case.She did not give reasons for dropping the charges against the
suspects.

Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso have been the prime suspects in the
stabbing of the late MP.
The unfortunate murder of the legislator happened on February 9, 2016.
He was stabbed in his bedroom at his East Legon residence in Accra.

The two suspects were arrested two days after the incident and
arraigned before court. They confessed to committing the crime at a
point during the prosecution. The family of the late J.B in February
this year petitioned President Nana Akufo-Addo to launch fresh
investigations into the former MP's death.
